I was looking at her newborn photos a couple of days ago and I just couldn't believe how big she seems now. The time has really flown in.
This past month she is awake more during the day which is great news for bedtime (she was always a great through the night sleeper anyway) and she has been giggling lots and cooing too.
At her last check on 11th December she weighed 14lbs 1oz and is on the 91st centile for height. Also at this check we found that she will need to go for a hip scan as her legs seem to be different lengths, her creases are uneven, her right leg is rigid and it clicks plus my dad had Perthes disease when he was younger so all these signs are making them want her checked over. C had to have one too which I wrote about here.
She is leaning to the left when sitting up and no amount of my trying to train her to sit the other way is working. I'm thinking that might be something hip-related. Her scan is on the 21st Jan so hopefully we'll see what is happening!
Big news this month is that she rolled over! She'd been trying for ages and finally on Christmas Eve she rolled from back to belly. So proud!
We have hit the teething stage too which is a lot worse than I remembered with C. Maybe it's just hitting her harder! Her fists are never out of her mouth.
Obviously 4 months old is when you CAN start weaning but I don't think she's ready yet. She does take 8oz of hungry baby milk every 4 hours and her 3-6 month clothing are already getting a bit small but she is happy and still sleeping through the night so I'll put it off for as long as I can.
Finally, over the last few days she has been able to put weight on her feet! It's scary how quickly she's growing up!
