I must admit that I'd never heard of the Bennetts for Babies range before having the chance to try them out which is awful as they are the best-selling baby care range in South Africa and they were established over 50 years ago!
The Bennetts range has been formulated by a pharmacist, helping to care for your baby. I do worry about what chemicals I put on my children's skin so this puts my mind at ease. Due to this, none of the products have an overpowering smell.
We were sent the Travel Buddy (£4.99), fragrance-free Baby Aqueous Cream (£3.99), Baby Bum Cream (£3.99) and Aqueous Bath Drops (£3.99) to try out.
E suffers from dry skin, especially on her legs. After bathing, in a bath with the Aqueous Bath Drops, I would apply the Baby Aqueous Cream. Both items have been developed to moisturise your babys skin and I can honestly say that after using the products for just over 2 weeks, E's legs do seem less dry. I love how the cream doesn't scoop easily as I tend to put too much on my hands then I don't know what to do with it all!
E doesn't usually suffer from bottom rashes but as she's now teething her bum seems a little red and irritated. The Baby Bum Cream contains lanolin, zinc oxide, starch a lavender oil to help soothe your babys bum. It works as a barrier between the skin and the soiled or wet nappy meaning no angry rashes! I've been applying it at every nappy change rather than only when she has a rash.
Lastly, the Travel Buddy. This is the best idea ever! It's a convenient little pack containing bum cream and wet wipes which is a great space saver for the changing bag.
The Bennetts for Babies range is great for babies with skin that is prone to eczema, dermatitis and dryness. The range can be found at UK independent pharmacies, Amazon, Morrisons and they'll soon be stocked in major retailers.
