C is a total bookworm. At the tender age of 2, he already has a huge collection of books and I am running out of places to store them. He'd much rather read/have a story read to him than play with toys.
Penwizard have a variety of different personalised books featuring Peppa Pig, In The Night Garden and many others. The books retail at £14.99 and you can view the full range here.
When Penwizard offered us the chance to review one of their personalised story books I jumped at the chance. I spotted that they had Peppa Pig books and as that is C's new obsession, I had to choose one of those. We opted for the playgroup themed book as C will be starting playgroup soon and I thought that reading a story about it would familiarise him with what a playgroup is and maybe get him excited about it.
When choosing your book, you can personalise the character to look like your child by changing hair, skin and eye colour and even adding thing like glasses. Then, you add your child's name and let Penwizard work their magic.
When the book arrived in the post, which was only a matter of days later, I was so excited to give it to C. He was thrilled to see Peppa on the cover and was shocked when I read it and he heard his name.
One thing that I love about this book is how long it is. I find that kids books are often very short but C has loved snuggling up with me and listening to the entire story. All of Peppa's characteristics are touched upon and other character from the show (eg Rebecca Rabbit & Madame Gazelle) are included too. It's a wonderful little story where your child is the new pupil at playgroup and it shows them making friends.
